Custom Pet Portraits
Imagine the sense of wonder you will feel when you unwrap a package with a custom pet portrait from The Quilted Jardin. Whether this fabric picture is for yourself or a spouse, child, or friend, you will be amazed by the similarity to the pet.
My creation process begins with your photograph and choice of background color. After creating my pattern, I begin searching through my fabric bins for the closest shades of fur, feathers, hair, or scales. Once the pieces are cut and sewn, I email you a photo for any suggested adjustments. I then make those changes, sending the updated photo. Once I have your "stamp of approval," I will finish the portrait (matted, wall hanging, or pillow) and ship it to you.
My customers have given these pet portraits as birthday gifts and anniversary gifts. Others have presented these as memorial gifts to their friends or family for a pet who has passed away. One customer even had one done at Christmas for her parents whose dog was old and not likely to make it through the winter. how surprised I was to meet Manitoba Mud at a craft fair the following summer!
