Quilted Art: The Enchantments
The full story of this 9 foot by 9 foot tri-panel art piece is written on my blog, but the short version is: This is a
representation of the view outside the house of Don and Pat in Plain, Washington. There are a total of 817 pine needles
sewn. This pictoral masterpiece is a combination of machine piecing, raw edge applique, fusible applique, machine
quilting, and free motion quilting.
As you can see, while it's not quite
a cathedral ceiling wallhanging, the
Enchantments is a stunning art
piece for quality and unique interior
decor.
